Official Equipment Distributor
Sports Lodge is the official Gym Factory distributor for the UK, Canada and Northern US, supplying 180+ commercial gym machines with manufacturer-backed warranty and support.
Sports Lodge is the officially appointed distributor for Gym Factory commercial gym equipment across the UK, with Canada and the northern United States also covered under the same agreement. That's a formal manufacturer-distributor relationship, not a reseller listing products it happens to stock — and it's the one thing missing from almost every other "gym equipment supplier UK" page currently ranking. Majority of resellers and distributors of new and used gym equipment in UK operate as a basic buy-low, sell-high model, and cannot stand for warranties, aftercare, custom builds and are not even close to having insider access to the manufacturer.
Who is the official UK distributor for Gym Factory?
Sports Lodge LTD holds a signed distribution agreement with Gym Factory, the commercial strength and cardio equipment manufacturer based in Lithuania, with the UK as the primary territory. Gym Factory has been operating for more than 10 years, growing from a two-person business into a team of 50 professionals — engineers, trainers and athletes — producing from ISO-certified facilities. That's the manufacturer standing behind every machine sold introduced by Sports Lodge in international markets: a real, verifiable production operation, not a private-label import.
What "official distributor" actually means
An appointed distributor buys directly from the manufacturer, under agreed pricing and territory terms, and carries administrative relations to manufacturer-backed warranty and parts support. A general reseller may stock the same brand alongside a dozen others with no direct relationship to the factory at all — which is why warranty claims, genuine parts and production timelines can get murky once you're several steps removed from the manufacturer. We've written a full explainer on the distinction: What official distributor means.
180+ commercial machines, built for daily gym use
The Gym Factory range spans more than 180 unique machines and pieces of equipment, all manufactured in Lithuania. Coverage runs push, pull, legs and cardio: chest and shoulder presses like the A6 Standing Chest Press Machine and the B5XX Shoulder and Chest Press Machine, built with independent handles for single-arm or bilateral work and a backrest that adjusts from fully upright to horizontal; pulling machines including the C2 Cable Crossover and the L7 Row Machine; leg stations such as the D3X Leg Press Machine and the D1XX Hack Squat Machine; and cardio units including the CA1 Commercial Treadmill and CA5 Stair Climber. Custom specification — dimensions, handle position, colour — is available on request.
A tiered warranty, not a marketing number
Gym Factory equipment carries a genuinely tiered warranty rather than one blanket figure: 30 years on frame and structural elements (steel profiles, load-bearing components, weight plates in selectorized machines), 36 months on mechanical moving parts (levers, bearings, shafts, pulleys, fasteners), 12 months on cables and belts, and 6 months on upholstery. Cover applies to the original purchaser under normal use with proper installation, and manufacturing defects are resolved with free repair or replacement parts. Full terms are on the equipment warranty page.
What to expect when you order
Every order goes through Gym Factory's own production process, which Sports Lodge manages on your behalf as the appointed distributor. A complete request gets a quote within 48 hours. A 50% deposit confirms the order and enters it into the production queue, with the balance due after production is complete and before shipment. Machines ship disassembled, with pre-installed fixings to simplify build (a small number of fully welded models can't be disassembled), packed in bubble-wrap with unique ID stickers and secured to wooden pallets. Because most machines are built to order, custom-manufactured equipment generally can't be returned or exchanged unless there's a confirmed manufacturing defect which mostly doesn’t happen due to strict quality and load check policies the factory applies to the process of production — standard returns are limited to logistics issues such as transport damage or a wrong delivery.
Why the distinction matters when you're buying
Buying commercial equipment through a general reseller can mean the warranty, spare parts and production timeline all depend on a chain of relationships you can't see. Buying through an appointed distributor removes that guesswork: Sports Lodge deals directly with Gym Factory on pricing, production and warranty terms for its territory, so there's a single accountable line from the factory floor to your gym floor. That's the gap this page exists to close — most UK gym equipment listings sell on stock volume and showroom visits; this one leads with a documented manufacturer relationship instead.
Where Sports Lodge distributes
The UK is the primary market under Sports Lodge's distribution agreement, with Canada and the northern United States also covered. Production lead time from Gym Factory typically runs 6–8 weeks. Gym Factory quotes EU delivery at roughly 1–2 weeks after production completes; as the UK, Canada and the northern US all sit outside the EU, delivery into these territories runs longer than that EU figure — Sports Lodge's own confirmed timelines for each will be published as they're finalised. See the UK / USA distribution page for territory-specific detail.
